Dental Credit

Academy of General Dentistry (AGD)
North Carolina Area Health Education Center is designated as an Approved PACE Program Provider by the Academy of General Dentistry. The formal continuing education programs of this program provider are accepted by AGD for Fellowship, Mastership and membership maintenance credit. Approval does not imply acceptance by a state or provincial board of dentistry or AGD endorsement. The current term of approval extends from 10/1/2008 to 9/30/2012.

Dental Assisting National Board (DANB)
Eastern AHEC requests continuing education credit from the Dental Assisting National Board for all programs relevant to Dental Assistants. “DANB Approval” indicates that a continuing education course appears to meet certain specifications as described in the DANB Recertification Guidelines. DANB does not, however, endorse or recommend any participant continuing education course and is not responsible for the quality of any course content.

North Carolina License Renewal for Dentists & Dental Hygienists
All clinical patient care courses offered at Eastern AHEC are acceptable for North Carolina License Renewal.
